OnSite is building an intelligent work chat platform for field teams in Singapore. We’re solving real coordination challenges by combining human work with AI to track projects, report progress, and plan effectively.

We’re looking for a mid-to-senior mobile developer with deep React Native experience and hands-on native development on iOS or Android. You’ll own mobile features end to end and ship reliable releases in a fast, collaborative environment.

About the Role

We’re looking for a mid-to-senior mobile developer with deep React Native experience and hands‑on native development experience on iOS or Android.

You’ll own mobile features end to end: working through the user experience, building the implementation, and shipping reliable releases. You should be comfortable working across the React Native and native layers, investigating platform‑specific issues, and making sound decisions about performance, architecture, and maintainability.

You should enjoy tackling complex problems, working through ideas with teammates and design partners, and delivering polished software that people rely on every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build a polished mobile experience. Develop features in React Native, with thoughtful interactions, responsive interfaces, and consistent behaviour across iOS and Android.
• Make real‑time communication dependable. Build and improve messaging flows, notifications, media uploads, and the way the app handles connectivity changes and interruptions.
• Work across the native layers. Integrate native SDKs, maintain or extend native modules, and debug issues that cross the boundary between React Native and platform code.
• Keep the app fast and stable. Investigate crashes, slow rendering, memory issues, and other performance problems using profiling tools and production monitoring.
• Own features through release. Work with backend engineers, design, and QA to integrate APIs, test changes, manage releases, and resolve production issues.
• Improve the foundations. Make practical improvements to mobile architecture, testing, build pipelines, and developer tooling as the product grows.

What We’re Looking For

• Deep React Native experience. You’ve shipped and maintained production apps and understand component design, navigation, state management, asynchronous data flows, and rendering performance.
• Strong mobile fundamentals. You understand app lifecycle, local storage, networking, permissions, push notifications, and the differences between iOS and Android.
• Production ownership. You’ve taken features from implementation through release and supported them in production, including debugging crashes and handling platform‑specific failures.
• Product judgement. You care about usability and polish, think through loading and error states, and make sensible trade‑offs between speed and long‑term maintainability.
• Strong technical communication. You can follow and contribute to complex technical discussions, explain architectural trade‑offs, and work independently while keeping teammates informed.

Nice to Have

• Experience building chat apps, real‑time collaboration products, or media‑heavy mobile experiences.
• Experience with offline functionality, data synchronisation, and unreliable network conditions.
• Native development experience on both iOS and Android.
• Experience with mobile test automation, CI/CD, and App Store and Google Play releases.
• Firsthand experience in field operations, or building software for deskless teams.
• Experience using AI coding agents to build and ship software.
