Job summary

TikTok in Singapore seeks an AI/ML risk and safety engineer to design and deploy large-scale risk detection solutions across video, LIVE, and social interactions, focusing on identifying abusive and fraudulent activity.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of AI/ML domains including CV, NLP, sequence modeling, graph learning or related areas.
Proficient in Python, C++, or Java with strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with large-scale data pipelines.
Hands-on experience in developing, evaluating, and deploying ML models to production with offline/online validation.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for large-scale production environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop risk detection and mitigation solutions across TikTok's ecosystem (video, LIVE, social).
Build and deploy large-scale AI/ML models leveraging CV, NLP, sequential learning, graph learning, and multimodal data.
Research next-generation risk intelligence and anti-abuse algorithms to detect emerging threats.
Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and operations to productionize AI solutions with measurable impact.
Improve model performance through offline analysis, online experiments, and data mining.
Exploration of LLMs, multimodal models, and agentic AI to tackle security challenges.
