Job summary

TikTok is seeking Research Engineers for its Business Integrity team to build scalable machine learning models for ad content understanding and security across the global platform.

You will advance multimodal models and apply LLM/MLLM technologies, collaborating with teams worldwide to deliver reliable content review systems that protect advertisers and users.

Strong candidates will have hands-on ML/DL, Python/C++, and experience deploying large models at scale.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in CS, AI, math, statistics or related fields.
• 1+ year of algorithm R&D or implementation experience in content understanding or AIGC.
• Strong ML/DL fundamentals and deep knowledge of MLLM/LLM, CV, NLP, multimodal fusion, and Agent technologies.
• Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow with hands-on large model training, fine-tuning and deployment.
• Publications at CS/ML conferences are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Focus on ad content understanding and security and conduct R&D for large model implementation.
• Deepen multimodal understanding tech for text, audio, video, etc., and optimize model decision-making for high-accuracy risk judgment.
• Explore RL/Agent applications in multimodal review scenarios and track AIGC trends for innovation.
• Develop multimodal content understanding models to empower ad intent recognition and accurate risk judgment.
