As a Technology Infrastructure Specialist at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our systems and infrastructure are secure, efficient, and always available. We are seeking an experienced Middleware Support professional to provide operational support and administration for the Bank's Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms. The role is responsible for ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient transfer of business-critical data across internal systems and external partners, with a strong focus on IBM Connect:Direct, encryption, cryptographic key management, and platform lifecycle management.
Provide L1/L2 operational support for enterprise Managed File Transfer platforms and services.
Administer and support IBM Connect:Direct environments supporting mission-critical file transfer processes.
Manage secure file transfers and troubleshoot production incidents to ensure service availability and timely issue resolution.
Support file encryption services, including PGP, SFTP, SSH, TLS/SSL, and certificate-based security mechanisms.
Perform cryptographic key generation, exchange, rotation, renewal, revocation, and lifecycle management activities.
Execute middleware patching, security remediation, upgrades, and vulnerability management activities.
Monitor platform health, file transfer performance, and operational trends to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Support audit, compliance, disaster recovery, and high-availability requirements.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and external partners to onboard and support file transfer integrations.
Drive automation and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant certifications in Middleware, Linux, Security, Cryptography, or Managed File
5+ years of experience supporting Middleware or Managed File Transfer platforms.
Hands‑on experience with IBM Connect:Direct administration and support.
Strong knowledge of secure file transfer technologies, including SFTP, FTPS, SCP, and HTTPS.
Experience with file encryption, cryptography, and PKI, including: PGP/GPG, SSH, TLS/SSL, Digital certificates and Authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Hands‑on experience in: Key generation and exchange, Certificate management, Key rotation and renewal and Secure key lifecycle management.
Experience in performing platform patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
Strong troubleshooting skills across middleware, operating systems, and network layers.
Working knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux environments (AIX, Linux, Solaris preferred).
Experience with scripting and automation tools
Able to work in a 24x7 support environment when required.
Exposure to IBM MQ administration and support.
Exposure to middleware platforms such as Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere Application Server, or similar application hosting platforms.
Experience with enterprise certificate and key management solutions (e.g., Venafi).
Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability, or financial services environments.
Having transfer technologies will be an advantage.
