CareCone Group is seeking a hands-on Application Support / Middleware Engineer in Singapore to independently troubleshoot production issues, investigate Oracle connectivity failures, perform RCA, and support deployments and migrations in an enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years in Application/Middleware support, strong SQL/Oracle knowledge, and experience with WebLogic/WebSphere/JBoss/Tomcat, Linux/Unix, and CI/CD tools.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in Application/ Middleware support and production troubleshooting.
• Experience in Oracle connectivity issues and RCA in enterprise apps.
• Familiarity with ITIL Incident/Problem/Change processes.
• Experience with deployment, release activities and migrations.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and SQL/Oracle databases.
• Understanding of Java/J2EE applications and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Application Support / Middleware Engineer who can independently troubleshoot production issues, investigate Oracle database connectivity failures, perform RCA, communicate effectively with customers, and support application deployments and migrations in an enterprise environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Application Support, Middleware Support, Application Deployment, or Production Support.
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise application support and production troubleshooting.
• Practical experience troubleshooting Oracle database connectivity and application-to-database communication issues.
• Proven experience handling production incidents and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Direct customer-facing or application-user support experience.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Hands-on experience with at least one middleware platform: WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Working knowledge of Java/J2EE applications.
• Experience with application deployment, release activities, and migration support.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
