Job summary
HCL Technologies Limited seeks an experienced Middleware & SWIFT Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for enterprise applications in a 24x7 production environment. You will administer Oracle WebLogic, SWIFT infrastructure, IBM MQ Series, and Unix/Linux/Solaris platforms to ensure high availability and operational stability.
The role requires strong troubleshooting, automation skills, ITIL process knowledge, and excellent communication for collaboration with technical and business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in Oracle WebLogic Administration.
- Hands-on experience supporting SWIFT environments and messaging systems.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux/Solaris administration.
- Experience with IBM MQ Series administration and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
- Sound understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
- Experience with Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python, or other automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
- Provide production support and troubleshooting for SWIFT messaging infrastructure and related applications.
- Manage and support Unix/Linux/Solaris servers, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IBM MQ Series queues, channels, and messaging services.
- Handle incidents, service requests, problem management, and change activities through ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Automate operational tasks using Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, ensuring compliance with SLAs and operational standards.
- Participate in release deployments, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, network, and vendor teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Prepare operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management.
