Union International Trading Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Operations Executive to drive end-to-end operational execution for middle distillates trading, overseeing contract administration, shipping coordination and logistics management.

The role ensures trades are executed in accordance with contractual terms while supporting commercial objectives and mitigating operational risks, with close collaboration across traders, finance, and terminals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required.
• 2–3 years of oil trading operations experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipping operations and Incoterms.
• Familiarity with demurrage, laytime calculations, and cargo documentation.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Aufgaben

• Manage full spectrum of operations for light - middle distillates from trade confirmation to final settlement.
• Review and verify sale and purchase contracts for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with traders, counterparties, suppliers, inspectors and terminals on cargo scheduling and delivery.
• Handle shipping and logistics arrangements, including vessel nomination, laycan management, and voyage monitoring.
• Liaise with shipowners, agents, and surveyors to ensure smooth loading/discharge operations.
• Monitor and manage demurrage/despatch calculations and claims.
• Ensure timely preparation and verification of shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Quantity/Quality certificates, invoices).
• Track cargo movements and update internal stakeholders on status and issues.
• Work with finance on invoicing, payment follow-ups, and cost reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, minimizing delays and financial exposure.
