Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a dedicated Events Planner/Coordinator to support planning, documentation, and execution of complex live events. The role involves preparing technical riders, floor plans, cost estimates, and run-downs, while coordinating with internal teams and approved vendors for timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has AV/event production experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work on-site during load-in, live operations, and load-out.

Qualifications

• Education background as listed in the job ad (NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in AV/electronics/event disciplines).
• Local polytechnic diplomas may include programmes in events, media production, sound and video, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Plan and document events and collect requirements (technical riders, floor plans, service orders).
• Prepare run-downs, equipment lists, and cost estimates for review and customer confirmation.
• Maintain accurate event information in systems with version control and timely updates.
• Coordinate scheduling, resources, and logistics with internal teams and vendors.
• Provide on-site coordination during load-in, live operations, and load-out.
• Liaise with internal departments and external contractors to meet timelines and requirements.
• Track event costs and support internal requests and approvals.
• Support safety, compliance, audits, and post-event debriefs.
• Perform additional duties to support department objectives.
