Job summary

KLA-TENCOR (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) who reports to the MDE Manager (Electrical Electronics). This role handles technical and quality issues related to electronic subassemblies and provides strong production support to ensure shipments align with schedules.

You will work with PCA design teams and suppliers on DFM/DFT, ECOs, cost reductions, and process improvements, including field escalations and training supplier teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily production escalation and resolve issues to meet shipment schedules.
• Provide technical support to production teams for field recoveries and repairs.
• Respond to failure analysis with comprehensive reports and implement corrective actions.
• Audit supplier quality and processes; coordinate with PCBA suppliers for quality improvements.
• Support ICT and functional test setup; advise on product repair and troubleshooting.
• Participate in PCA design reviews and ensure DFM/DFT requirements are met.
• Collaborate with PCA design and manufacturing system teams on new tools and ramp-up plans.
