Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and building relationships.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous internship, project, club leadership, or campus ambassador experience.
• Exposure to sales, customer service, marketing, or business development activities.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM.
• Interest in startups, SaaS, e-commerce, retail technology, or digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in identifying and researching potential merchant partners.
• Assist with outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, social media, and networking activities.
• Help schedule meetings and product demonstrations with prospective merchants.
• Conduct market research and gather insights on industry trends and competitors.
• Engage merchants to understand their business needs and challenges. Assist in preparing sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and activities in the CRM system.
• Follow up with prospective merchants and support ongoing sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing and customer success teams on merchant engagement initiatives.
• Support business development projects and ad hoc assignments as required.
