Job summary

VOIS PTE LTD is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our Contracts Management team in Kampong Ubi Central Region on a full-time basis. You will manage costs, contracts and procurement across construction projects, impacting profitability and client satisfaction.

You will prepare BOQs, conduct cost estimation, oversee procurement, monitor subcontract costs, and produce regular financial reports while ensuring compliance with Singapore contracts, including SIA conditions.

Qualifications

• Professional QS qualification or equivalent accreditation.
• 5–7 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with MEP focus.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and BIM tools.
• Experience in contract management, procurement and sub-contractor administration.
• Excellent understanding of Singapore construction contracts (SIA).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and bills of quantities for MEP systems.

• Ensure MEP documentation is filed for audits.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join VOIS PTE LTD on a full-time basis at our office in Kampong Ubi Central Region. This is a strategic position within our Contracts Management division, where you will play a crucial role in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing costs, contracts, and procurement across our construction projects. Your expertise will directly impact project profitability, risk management, and client satisfaction, making this role integral to our success in delivering high-quality construction solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and bills of quantities for MEP systems and installations

• Conducting cost estimation and budgeting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works

• Managing MEP contractor procurement processes, including tender preparation, evaluation, and negotiations

• Monitoring and controlling MEP sub-contract costs throughout project delivery

• Preparing and processing variation orders, claims, and change request documentation

• Liaising with architects, engineers, and MEP contractors to clarify specifications and resolve technical queries

• Maintaining detailed cost records and producing regular project financial reports

• Reviewing contractual terms and conditions related to MEP works to ensure compliance

• Managing sub-contract valuations and certification for payment

• Identifying cost saving opportunities and providing value engineering recommendations

• Ensuring all MEP documentation is properly filed and readily accessible for project audits

What we're looking for

• Professional qualification as a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or equivalent accreditation

• Minimum 5-7 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with substantial experience in MEP quantity surveying

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and firefighting systems

• Proficiency in cost estimation software and building information modelling (BIM) tools

• Demonstrated expertise in contract management, procurement, and sub-contractor administration

• Excellent understanding of Singapore construction contracts, including SIA conditions

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and other relevant quantity surveying software

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and construction best practices is advantageous
