Job summary

Lim Wen Heng Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator/Engineer to oversee MEP coordination on our building projects in Singapore. You will liaise with consultants, clients and authorities, and work with BIM to prepare models for construction.

The role requires 5 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to review drawings, manage submittals, and ensure safe, on-schedule site progress. A BIM/VDC background is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience with Building Main Contractor.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Independent, can work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; BIM/VDC experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients and authorities on MEP matters.
• Collaborate with BIM team to prepare the construction model and cross-check against drawings.
• Review shop drawings, materials and MOS submitted by subcontractors.
• Assist MEP Engineer with documentation and submittals.
• Ensure site work follows coordination schedules and safety standards.
• Attend sub-con meetings and technical meetings for MEP matters.
• Lead as-built drawings and submission of O&M manuals.
• Handover project documentation to the client.
• Assess subcontractor progress and claims related to MEP works.
