Job summary

The Assistant Director supports the Director in leadership, management and development of the Mentoring Department as CDAC expands its model to more schools and deepens cross-department integration under One CDAC.

The role leads major portfolios, supervises staff and codifies practice so the model can be extended to new sites without loss of quality, while contributing to overall organisational learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of youth development and mentoring in social services.
• Experience leading teams and cross-department collaborations.
• 8–10 years in youth development or education; 3–5 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead departmental portfolios, strategic initiatives and workstreams.
• Codify practices into documented frameworks, training materials and quality standards.
• Represent Mentoring in One CDAC discussions and drive cross-department integration.
• Supervise, coach and develop staff, monitoring workload and wellbeing.
