Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an Engineer in Product Yield Enhancement (PYE) to perform failure analysis on memory devices and identify defect locations and failure mechanisms.

You will work with product engineering, process integration, manufacturing, and quality teams, applying PFA methodologies and ensuring safety in the laboratory. Responsibilities include analyzing device architecture and processes, presenting results to stakeholders, and supporting corrective actions to improve yield,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform failure analysis to identify defect locations, failure mechanisms, and electrical failure modes in memory devices.
• Analyze device architecture, fabrication processes, device operation, and device physics to support root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present analysis results and support corrective actions for yield and reliability improvements.
• Maintain readiness and proper use of laboratory equipment and analytical tools for failure analysis.
• Adhere to safety, procedures, and quality standards in the lab.
• Document technical findings and support continuous improvement of lab capabilities.
