Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a design engineer in our Central Engineering Group to develop foundation IP for AI products, including memory compilers, logic cells, and custom macros using advanced process technology.

You will validate memory macros, conduct thorough verification, and collaborate with memory designers to enhance characterization and validation processes. The role emphasizes transistor-level circuit behavior, signal integrity, and the use of automation to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in memory design or memory verification is preferred.
• Strong ability to run simulators and write automation scripts for verification workflows.

Responsibilities

• Validate memory macros and memory compilers through verification.
• Perform functional verification to identify design discrepancies.
• Conduct signal integrity and EM/IR analysis to assess timing and margins.
• Run transistor-level simulations to address Power Up or Lock up issues.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline verification workflows.
• Collaborate with memory designers to improve memory characterization and validation.
