Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is recruiting a Laboratory Support/Technician to handle specimen receive, sorting, and packing for outbound couriers at the West location in Singapore.

The role requires basic education (N/ O/ A Level or Nitec) and offers opportunities to work with laboratory staff and the Laboratory Information System, performing billing tasks and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum N/ O/ A Level or Nitec in any field
• Relevant work experience in a medical laboratory environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive laboratory specimens and reject those unsuitable for processing
• Sort and pack specimens for couriers/porters at designated send out schedules
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and tidy
• Operate the Laboratory Information System for result query, order entry, packing list, and result entry
• Perform billing-related tasks
• Work closely with Medical Technologists
• Follow laboratory protocols and good laboratory practice
• Report adverse incidents to senior staff
• Comply with Laboratory Safety Manual requirements
• Carry out instructions from senior staff regarding procedures and duties
