ST Engineering Marine Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Technician to lead a small team responsible for rectifications of engine systems onboard ships. You will oversee delivery of defects and participate in acceptance tests for overhauled equipment.

Requirements include NTC/Higher NTC in Mechanical/Marine/Automotive, 1–2 years’ relevant experience, and proficiency with hand tools such as micrometer, bore gauge and torque wrench.

• Dismantle and replace mechanical spare parts; test equipment.

Job description:

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team worker for rectifications of Engine's system / Equipment onboard ships.


• Responsible for delivery of job defects.

Requirements

• NTC/Higher NTC in Mechanical/Marine/Automotive related field.


• Preferably with at least 1- 2 years relevant working experience.


• Possess basic understanding of basic components and functions of mechanical engines or diesel engines.


• Able to use IMTE hand tools such as Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Torque Wrench


• Required to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when necessary.
