Job summary

Changi Airport Group seeks a Mechanical Engineer for Building Systems (Mechanical) to lead maintenance and upgrade efforts across critical mechanical systems. You will champion AI-driven solutions, data analytics, and automation to enhance resilience, predictive capabilities, and operational efficiency.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, drive digital transformation, and deliver end-of-life replacements with a focus on passenger experience and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ACMV, mechanical, plumbing, sanitary or fire protections systems.
• Experience with energy efficiency and system reliability concepts.
• Familiarity with AI, data analytics, and automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Systems Operations & Maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Oversee maintenance, performance, and reliability of ACMV and related systems.
• Develop strategies to reduce downtime and improve energy efficiency.
• Digitalization, AI & Predictive Technologies: implement predictive maintenance using sensor data.
• Leverage IoT platforms, digital twins, and automation tools for monitoring.
• Evaluate new technology with academia, startups, and providers.
• Lead projects, end-of-life replacements, and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
• Support audits and drive innovation in M&E.
• Assist tenancy works and interpret drawings.
