Job summary

Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage the full spectrum of mechanical works on ongoing projects in Singapore. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities while overseeing MEP progress and compliance with design specs.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years' relevant experience, familiar with VAV/VRV systems, cooling towers, chillers, and chilled water piping.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Singapore's construction industry.
• Experience with mechanical systems such as VAV, VRV, cooling towers, chillers, chilled water piping systems, and A&A works.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates available immediately or within short notice are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering works from project commencement to completion.
• Monitor MEP installation progress and ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities on technical and site matters.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and project reports.
• Supervise site works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Assist in procurement, testing & commissioning (T&C), inspections, and project handover activities.
• Resolve technical and site issues to support smooth project execution.
