Job summary

Abbott Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician/engineer responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems. You will evaluate equipment, supervise installation and upgrades, and ensure continuous production while complying with GMP and site safety.

You will work with contractors, manage data via MAXIMO, and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Food, Petrochemical, Chemical or Nutritional industries.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of lean six sigma, kaizen and Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems.
• Evaluate, select and order equipment for production.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of equipment.
• Operate MAXIMO for work orders and records.
• Lead contractors and vendors for maintenance tasks.
• Support GMP compliance, safety and sanitation.
