Job summary

A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to deliver exceptional on-site after-sales support for mobile and crawler cranes. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Candidates should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with heavy lifting equipment and good communication skills in English.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience servicing heavy lifting equipment, preferably cranes.
  • Good communication skills in English; ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Valid Singapore Class 3/Class 4 driving license and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of crane systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and load-testing to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Train clients on safe crane operation, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting basics.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to escalate complex issues and improve product design.
  • Document service activities, including fault diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage, in detailed reports.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations (e.g., MOM standards) and industry best practices.
