Job summary

Oceanda HR PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical works at construction sites in Singapore.

You will monitor installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance, while coordinating with project managers, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely completion in line with technical drawings and specifications. Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering on construction projects or site engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience in site coordination and quality control is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical engineering works at construction project sites.
• Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems as per specs.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors for timely completion.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Prepare work schedules, progress reports, and project records.
• Identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist troubleshooting.
• Ensure materials and resources meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and permit-to-work procedures.
• Attend meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform other site-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering, construction projects, or site engineering.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience in site coordination, project execution, and quality control is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Familiarity with workplace safety requirements and construction site safety practices.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willing to work at different project sites, weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours based on project requirements.
• No formal educational qualification required.
