Job summary

LED SIGNS PTE LTD is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/ Drafter to prepare shop, fabrication and installation drawings for customised metal structures and related project works. You will convert concepts and site measurements into detailed fabrication-ready drawings using SolidWorks.

The role requires a diploma in mechanical/ manufacturing engineering and proficiency in SolidWorks, with preference for candidates with metal fabrication or signage drafting experience and strong interpretation of

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics from a recognised Singapore institution.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Experience in metal fabrication or related drafting is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop, fabrication, assembly and installation drawings for metal works.
• Produce drawings for mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other fabricated components.
• Use SolidWorks and other drafting software to create fabrication-ready drawings.
• Convert concepts and measurements into accurate drawings for workshop use.
• Take site measurements and verify dimensions before drawing creation.
