Job summary

KLA is seeking an experienced engineer in Singapore to advance high-throughput inspection systems. You will lead integration, testing, and validation across subsystems, while coordinating with marketing, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure system readiness and robust performance.

The role requires a strong background in optical-mechanical design, Python scripting, and excellent cross-functional communication. Travel up to 20% may be involved as projects span global teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Optics or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven ability to lead integration and testing activities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead system and subsystem integration, testing, and characterization activities.
• Define and maintain specifications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Deliver structured training to Manufacturing Engineers and NPI Engineers.
• Coordinate project activities with stakeholders and perform system-level tasks.
• Collaborate with marketing and engineering to define system architecture.
• Create and execute test plans to validate system performance.
• Support manufacturing and field service with optics- and system-related escalations.
• Create clear documentation for design, testing, and diagnostics.
• Provide regular status updates to management and executives.
