Job summary

GOOD JOB CREATIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced mechanical designer to translate requirements into robust enclosure designs for gensets, engines and industrial systems.

You will develop 3D models and detailed drawings, support structural and thermal analyses, and select materials for performance and manufacturability. Collaborating with manufacturing and process engineering, you will participate in design reviews and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of enclosure design experience for gensets, engines, machinery or industrial systems.
• Proficient with CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with FEM/FEA and thermal analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in translating engineering and product requirements into practical mechanical design concepts.
• Develop 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Support design analysis and simulations, including structural, thermal, and vibration assessments.
• Evaluate and select suitable materials and components based on performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Design and support tooling, jigs, and fixtures for assembly and testing processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams to ensure effective design implementation.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to quality standards, safety requirements, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in enclosure design for gensets, engines, machinery, or industrial systems.
• Proficient in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools, including FEA/FEM and thermal analysis.
• Good knowledge of material selection, fabrication methods, and applicable industry standards and compliance requirements.
