Job summary

LED SIGNS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Drafter with strong drafting skills and practical knowledge of metal works and fabrication.

The role focuses on preparing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for customised metal structures, frames, brackets, supports, and related project works. You will use SolidWorks and other drafting software to convert concepts, site measurements, and architectural drawings into fabrication-ready

Qualifications

• Local Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Experience with metal fabrication and reading architectural/structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and installation drawings for metal works.
• Produce drawings for mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, sheet metal, frames, brackets, supports, base plates, channels, RHS, SHS, and other fabricated components.
• Prepare accurate drawings using SolidWorks and other relevant drafting software.
• Convert design concepts, sketches, site measurements, and architectural drawings into fabrication-ready drawings.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before preparation of drawings.
• Prepare detailed sections, connection details, mounting details, welding details, and fixing methods.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and production teams
