Job summary

JEP Precision Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a drafting engineer to prepare, modify, and maintain product drawings using SolidWorks. You will interpret complex drawings, ensure revisions are up-to-date, and collaborate with engineers across departments to resolve discrepancies and support manufacturing requirements.

The role requires a Higher NITEC or equivalent in mechanical/precision drafting, with at least 3 years in precision engineering or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
• GD&T knowledge is desirable.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks is essential.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, drafting, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in precision engineering or a manufacturing environment.

• Proficient in SolidWorks CAD software; experience with UG/NX or other CAD software will be an advantage.

• Able to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.

• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and manufacturing processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
