Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a detail-oriented 3D Draftsman to support Mechanical Engineering and Oil & Gas projects. You will prepare technical drawings, update submissions to meet project specifications, and coordinate with project teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, has 1–2 years drafting experience, and is proficient in AutoCAD. Strong collaborative and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in drafting, mechanical engineering or oil & gas.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and interpretation of drawings.
• Ability to coordinate revisions with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed/3D project drawings across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed/3D project drawings throughout the various project phases.

Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers and relevant stakeholders on drawing specifications & requirements.

Maintain an updated drawing register, including submission records, revision history and approval status, and distribute the latest drawings to project and operations teams.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.

About you

Diploma Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in drafting, Mechanical Engineering or the oil & gas industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, identify discrepancies and coordinate drawing revisions.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across project and operations teams.
