Jun Heng Automation PTE ltd is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Serangoon team. Entry-level candidates are welcome as full training will be provided, with preference for candidates having 2–3 years of hands-on mechanical experience.

The role involves assembling components, maintaining the work area for safety, and collaborating with the workshop team to meet production schedules. Mandarin proficiency is a plus for communication with Chinese-speaking colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on mechanical assembly experience preferred, entry-level applicants welcome for training.
• NITEC or higher / diploma in mechanical engineering or relevant technical discipline.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred to communicate with Chinese-speaking team members.
• Practical hands-on skills, good work attitude and reliable team player.

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team in Serangoon. While candidates with 2 to 3 years of hands‑on mechanical experience are preferred for intermediate tasks, entry‑level candidates with no prior experience are also welcome to apply as full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of components, sub‑assemblies, and equipment according to technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure work area safety and cleanliness
• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure smooth assembly operations and meet production schedules
• Assist with general workshop duties and handling of mechanical tools/equipment as assigned

About you

• Preferred 2 to 3 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical assembly (entry‑level applicants willing to learn are welcome)
• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline (ITE & Polytechnic graduates welcome)
• Proficiency in spoken Mandarin is preferred to communicate effectively with Chinese‑speaking team members
• Practical hands‑on skills, good working attitude, and reliable team player
