Job summary

AVIATION LABOUR GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a workshop facility in the west of Singapore on a long-term contract. You will perform vehicle assembly, install mechanical and electrical components, and conduct routine checks to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

OJT training will be provided and applicants should have a NITEC or Diploma with at least 1 year in automotive/engineering, be able to shift and overtime as needed, and read/write English.

Qualifications

• Possess a NITEC or Diploma in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an automotive or engineering environment.
• Ability to perform shift work and overtime when required.
• Able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of vehicles, including installation and integration of mechanical and electrical components, in accordance to the process instructions and quality standards.
• Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report any assembly defects, or technical issues to supervisors for corrective action.
• Complete job documentation, including checklists and service records, accurately and promptly.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• OJT training will be provided
• Any other ad-hoc matters to support the team.
