Job summary

STEWART ENGINEERING WORKS (S) PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Sales & service Mechanic Engineer in Singapore to lead on-site repairs and overhaul of diesel engines for marine and industrial applications.

The role requires independent work, troubleshooting on site, and customer-focused service delivery. You will need 3-5 years of hands-on experience with brands like Cummins, Detroit, Perkins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, and a track record in upselling additional services and packages.

Qualifications

• Repair & overhaul of diesel engines (Marine & Industrial).
• Able to troubleshoot on site and work independently.
• Mentor junior mechanics and train others.
• Able to upsell and propose extra services and packages.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul diesel engines and related equipment on site.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues across marine, oil & gas, and construction sectors.
• Mentor and guide junior mechanics.
• Upsell and present additional service packages to customers.

Senior Sales & service Mechanic Engineer

• Min 3-5 years working experience in repair & overhaul of diesel engines (Marine & Industrial).
• Brands: Cummins, Detroit, Perkins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta etc, Experience in Detroit Diesel engine is a plus.
• Familiar with repair and refurbishment of oilfield equipment
• Have experience in repair all kinds of diesel engine such as generator, air compressor
• Able to work independently & troubleshoot on site
• able to up sell and convince customer on including extra services and packages
• able to mentor junior mechanics
