Job summary

STEWART ENGINEERING WORKS (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Sales & service Mechanic Engineer to lead on-site repair and overhaul of diesel engines across marine and industrial sectors.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, brand familiarity, on-site troubleshooting, and the ability to upsell service packages while mentoring junior mechanics. You will work across marine, oil & gas, and construction sectors, providing reliable maintenance and repair solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in repair & overhaul of diesel engines (Marine & Industrial).
• Experience with brands Cummins, Detroit, Perkins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta; Detroit Diesel is a plus.
• Familiar with repair and refurbishment of oilfield equipment.
• Experience repairing diesel engines such as generators and air compressors.
• Able to work independently on-site and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot on site and provide repair solutions.
• Upsell and propose additional services and packages to customers.
• Mentor junior mechanics on field work.
