Job summary

SunnyHill Ace Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a dedicated school support staff member to assist in the Mathematics department.

You will prepare essential teaching tools, manipulatives, and math games, and aid teachers in the Math room and foyer during performance tasks and experiential learning activities. You will manage inventory of instructional items, regularly audit resources, compile student survey results, prepare certificates, and photograph achievers for notice boards.

Qualifications

• Education: valid GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
• Experience: minimum 1 year in a school environment.
• Skills: strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teaching & Lesson Support: Prepare essential teaching tools, hands-on manipulatives, and math games for lessons. Assist teachers directly in the Math room and school foyer during performance tasks and experiential learning activities.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Keep accurate records of the borrowing and returning of instructional items by teaching staff. Regularly audit and check the quantity and condition of the department's teaching resources.
• Administrative Operations: Compile student survey results, prepare certificates, and take photographs of student achievers to update the school's vibrant notice boards.
• Departmental Assistance: Provide general operational support and execute ad-hoc duties assigned by the HOD of Mathematics, Vice-Principals, and the Administration Manager.

Work Schedule

• Mondays to Fridays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (inclusive of a 30 to 45-minute lunch break)
• Off days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimally possess a valid GCE 'O' Level certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant working experience inside a school environment is strictly required.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly interact with students, teachers, and school management.
