Job summary

Jurong West Primary School is seeking a dedicated staff member to support Mathematics lessons by preparing games and teaching tools. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028.

The ideal candidate has at least a GCE O-Level and one year of school experience, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a friendly approach to pupils and colleagues. Tasks include stock checks, assisting teachers, and documenting student achievements.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level certificate or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a school.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Approach pupils and colleagues in a friendly manner and follow through on assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare games, manipulatives and other teaching tools for Mathematics lessons.
• Record loans and returns, check quantities and help the department maintain its stock.
• Assist teachers with practical activities and performance tasks in the Mathematics room or foyer.
• Photograph student achievers for noticeboard displays, prepare certificates and compile survey results.
• Carry out related tasks assigned by the Head of Mathematics, Vice Principals or Administration Manager.
