Job summary

The National University of Singapore seeks a candidate to assist in lab support for a project titled Unlocking Market Leadership in Semiconductors with Multilayer Amorphous Carbon as Ultralow-k Dielectric. You will work on MAC growth, device testing, and comprehensive material characterization under senior supervision.

Responsibilities include CVD-based substrate processing, device electrical testing, and data interpretation, with emphasis on lab safety and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to solve problems and generate new ideas.
• Experience with operation and maintenance of CVD reactors and vacuum systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct growth of MAC on target substrates using a UV-based CVD approach.
• Electrical tests of the devices and exploration of transfer curves of transistors.
• Characterization of MAC (optical, electrical, Raman, AFM, SEM).
• Data analysis and physical interpretation of results.
• Manage lab safety, equipment maintenance and operations.
