Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore seeks a Senior Manager, Supplier Quality to lead supplier development, qualification, audits and continuous improvement in a fast‑growing semiconductor environment.

You will design strategic supplier improvement plans, monitor KPIs, and ensure ISO/Lean compliance while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Travel up to 25% may be required, and a strong track record in quality leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective supplier interactions.
• BS in Quality/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with >10 years experience.
• ASQC, CQE certification a plus.
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment and Gas Panel related activities.
• Demonstrated management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic supplier improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments.
• Improve supplier manufacturing processes.
• Lead supplier development projects.
• Build supplier technical capability.
• Monitor KPIs including Quality (PPM) and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Lead supplier qualification and audits (ISO 9001, Lean).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Provide executive reporting on supplier performance.

Job Description

The Supplier Development Manager is responsible for:

1. Supplier Development

• Develop strategic supplier improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments.
• Improve supplier manufacturing processes.
• Lead supplier development projects.
• Build supplier technical capability.

2. Supplier Performance Management

• Monitor KPIs including:
• Quality (PPM)
• On-Time Delivery (OTD)
• Lead Time
• Cost Reduction
• Capacity Utilization
• Responsiveness
• Corrective Action Closure
• Customer Complaints

3. New Supplier Qualification

• Evaluate potential suppliers
• Conduct capability audits
• Review manufacturing processes
• Review quality systems
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI)
• Approve supplier qualification

4. Supplier Audits

• Perform audits covering:
• ISO 9001 o ISO 14001
• Lean Manufacturing
• Process Control
• Traceability
• Calibration
• Risk Management
• EHS compliance

5. Continuous Improvement o Lead initiatives such as:

• Lean Manufacturing
• Six Sigma
• Kaizen
• Value Stream Mapping
• OEE Improvement
• Waste Reduction
• Cycle Time Reduction

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective Supplier interactions.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• BS in Quality/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering discipline with >10 years experience.
• ASQC, CQE certification a plus.

Experience Requirement:

• Work Experience: Technical experience in semiconductor capital equipment and Gas Panel related activities are highly desirable.
• Management Experience

Overnight Travel:

Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting). 25 %.
