Job summary

Electronics MFG Co. seeks a Materials Planner to generate MRP forecasts and coordinate with Purchasing for raw material procurement.

You will work with Sales, Production and Warehouse to ensure on-time materials delivery, monitor forecasts, and maintain stock availability in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment in the East Area of Singapore. The role requires strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), good communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Manufacturing, SCM or Engineering.
• Knowledge of MRP systems; training provided.
• Basic inventory and warehouse management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Excel (PivotTable & VLOOKUP) and other Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Generate MRP and advise Purchasing on raw materials procurement.
• Coordinate with sections to ensure on-time raw materials schedule.
• Monitor production and Store to ensure smooth materials supply.
• Update materials arrival dates in the daily sales order listing.
• Daily input review to ensure material availability for production.
• Review forecast accuracy, consumption trends and production capacity.
• Materials forecast orientation with Purchasing/Supplier based on Sales forecast.
• Work with Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse to update the forecast and ensure on-time ordering, receipt, delivery of raw materials.
• Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with different departments related to material availability, capacity, and order fulfilment.

• Coordinate with respective sections to ensure raw materials on-time schedule.

• Monitor and coordinate with production and Store to ensure smooth supply of raw materials.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management/Engineering or any related fields.

• Knowledge in MRP system preferred, training will be provided.

• Basic inventory management and warehouse management.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with various stakeholders.

• Adaptable and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) and other office applications.
