Job summary

Maersk in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking and packing goods, and to help maintain stock accuracy.

You will operate MHE such as forklift and reach truck, perform regular stock counts, and ensure safety and cleanliness. Overtime may be required; a positive team player with a forklift license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary Level/ITE required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy goods and stand for long hours.
• Experience operating MHE such as forklift, reach truck, and/or order picker.
• Forklift license is required; work-at-height license is a plus.
• Knowledge of WMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse tasks: receiving, picking and packing goods.
• Assist in inventory control with stock labeling, shelving, and cycle counts.
• Load/unload containers, sort incoming items and handle returns.
• Use RDT scanner to scan pallets.
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily warehouse activities such such as receiving, picking and packing goods
• Assist in warehouse inventory by organizing and maintaining stock levels. This includes labeling and shelving items, conducting regular stock counts, and updating inventory records
• Loading and unloading of containers, sorting of incoming goods and handling returns
• Use the RDT scanner to scan pallets
• Perform Weekly/Monthly stock count
• Ensure smooth inventory movement and inventory accuracy
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Requirements:

• Minimum Secondary Level/ITE
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to carry heavy goods, long hours of walking and standing
• Experience in operating MHE such as Forklift, Reach Truck, and/or Order Picker
• Possess a valid forklift license, and work-at-height license will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be an added advantage
• Willing to work overtime whenever required
• Positive attitude and good team player
• Maintain safety, health and operational quality standards
