Job summary

APL Logistics in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse activities within a safe and efficient environment, leveraging tech tools where needed. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, and compliance with SLAs and KPIs.

You will collaborate with procurement, customer service and other teams to ensure timely replenishment, accurate shipments and proper documentation in line with regulatory requirements. Prior logistics exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation or related fields

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
• Monitor stock levels, anticipate shortages and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely reordering of products.
• Coordinate cargo or material-handling security procedures for hazardous goods.
• Coordinate picking, packing and shipping of orders for timely, accurate deliveries.
• Address discrepancies in order fulfilment and resolve promptly.
• Implement quality control to ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Liaise with Customer Service on progress updates; arrange inbound/outbound shipments; ensure packing lists and BOL docs.
• Inspect and validate stocks (SKU, colour, size, quantity, defects) against orders.
• Generate documents for non-compliance for follow-up actions.
• Ensure workplace safety standards and a safe working environment.
• Complete mandatory safety training (e.g., 5S).
• Adhere to CSR policies for logistics operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete daily responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and orders.

Ensure all customers' requirements are completed and meet their satisfaction level as per SLAs and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.

Order Fulfilment

• Coordinate the picking, packing and shipping of orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Address any discrepancies or issues related to order fulfilment and resolve them promptly.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure products are properly packaged and labeled.
• Liaise with Customer Service and Support teams and provide progress updates to customers; arrangement for inbound and outbound shipments; check and ensure proper documentations are in placed as per local regulatory requirements (i.e. packing list, BOL etc.).

Quality Assurance

• Inspect and validate stocks (SKUs, colour, size, quantity, defects etc.) against customers' orders.
• Generate supporting documents for non-compliance for follow-up actions.

Operational Compliance

• Ensure workplace safety standards and protocols are adhered to create a safe working environment for all.
• Complete all mandatory training in relation to workplace safety (e.g. 5S).
• Adhere to corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with other departments/teams to complete day-to-day responsibilities as required.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and timely order processing.
