Qualifications

• Proven butcher or meat preparation experience preferred.
• Able to handle beef and steak cuts.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good hygiene and food safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, trim and portion beef, pork, chicken and other meat products.
• Perform cutting, trimming, slicing and portioning according to specifications.
• Handle steak cuts and ensure consistent portion sizes.
• Maintain proper hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Vacuum pack, label and store meat products properly.
• Check meat quality and freshness.
• Assist with stock receiving and inventory control.
• Keep the preparation and retail area clean and organised.
• Provide basic assistance to customers when required.
• Perform other duties related to daily meat shop operations.
