Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced data specialist for regulatory reporting data. You will gather requirements, map data from upstream systems to reporting templates, and ensure data quality and traceability within the MAS 610 framework.

You will reconcile data to the General Ledger, define testing scenarios, and collaborate with IT and Finance to implement the regulatory reporting platform. Strong SQL, data modelling, and governance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with regulatory reporting data in banking/financial services, preferably APAC.
• Hands-on MAS 610 regulatory reporting data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.
• Strong experience translating regulatory reporting requirements into detailed data requirements and source-to-target mappings.
• Experience with regulatory reporting platforms such as Regnology, Agile Reporter, Axiom/AxiomSL.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting data dictionaries, data lineage, reporting attributes, and data models.
• Hands-on experience defining and testing data quality rules and controls.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, analysing, reconciling, and validating large datasets.
• Experience with General Ledger reconciliation, manual adjustments and journals, data aggregation and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document data requirements for regulatory reporting, focused on MAS 610.
• Define and maintain source-to-target data mappings between systems and reporting templates.
• Collaborate with IT-led platform implementation to ensure data completeness and traceability.
• Translate regulatory requirements into detailed data specifications.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation for regulatory reporting data.
• Define data quality rules, validation controls, and testing scenarios.
• Execute data quality testing, investigate exceptions, and coordinate remediation.
• Support mapping and documentation of Finance and Regulatory Reporting processes.
• Perform reconciliations of regulatory reporting outputs to the General Ledger.
• Identify gaps and propose remediation or transformation rules.
• Support SIT/UAT/parallel runs and implementation activities for regulatory reporting data.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure consistent reporting requirements.
• Produce documentation covering data lineage, mapping logic, and data quality controls.
• Develop dashboards to communicate data quality, reconciliation results, and trends.
