Job summary

AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Data Analyst — RegulatoryReporting to lead data requirements, mappings, validation, and quality for regulatory reporting in an APAC banking environment.

The role focuses on MAS 610 and collaboration across Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Data, and Technology teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on MAS 610 experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Regnology, Agile Reporter, or Axiom/AxiomSL platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with regulatory reporting data in banking/financial services, preferably APAC.
• Strong experience implementing or supporting MAS 610 regulatory reporting.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into detailed data specifications and source-to-target mappings.
• Experience with data dictionaries, data models, taxonomy, and reporting attributes.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, analyzing, reconciling, and validating large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document data requirements for regulatory reporting with MAS 610 focus.
• Define source-to-target data mappings across upstream systems and reporting templates.
• Collaborate with IT-led regulatory reporting platform implementations to ensure data traceability and accuracy.
• Analyze data dictionaries, models, and attributes; translate into data specifications.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure completeness of reporting data.
• Define data quality rules, validation controls, and testing scenarios for regulatory reporting data.
• Execute data quality testing and coordinate remediation with business and tech teams.
• Support Finance and Regulatory Reporting processes including journals, reconciliations, and controls.
• Perform reconciliations of reporting outputs to General Ledger and other Finance systems.
• Identify gaps and propose remediation or transformation rules to meet target requirements.
• Support SIT, UAT, parallel runs, and data validation during implementation.
• Collaborate with regulators, Finance, Data, Risk, and Technology stakeholders to resolve data issues.
• Produce documentation covering data lineage, mappings, rules, reconciliations, and quality controls.
• Develop dashboards or visuals to communicate data quality, reconciliations, and trends.
