Job summary

Mama Shelter Singapore is seeking a marketing and events intern to support content creation, social media management, and event coordination. You will help plan campaigns, shoot and edit content, and assist with dining promotions and community programs.

Gain hands-on experience across brand marketing, hotel operations and event management while building a standout portfolio within an internationally recognized lifestyle hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, Media or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns.
• Create content for Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Capture photos/videos of facilities, dining experiences, events and guests.
• Edit short-form videos and social content using CapCut, Canva or Adobe Express.
• Prepare weekly content calendars and schedule posts.
• Monitor social media engagement and community interactions.
• Support planning and execution of hotel events and promotions.
• Coordinate event logistics and liaise with internal departments.
• Assist in vendor coordination and post-event reporting.
• Engage with guests during events to enhance experience.
• Collect guest feedback and identify service improvements.
• Maintain marketing assets and prepare promotional materials.
• Track campaign performance and prepare simple reports.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content Creation

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
• Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn and other digital platforms.
• Capture photos and videos of hotel facilities, dining experiences, events and guests (where appropriate).
• Edit short-form videos and social media content using tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe Express.
• Prepare weekly content calendars and assist in scheduling posts.
• Monitor social media engagement and community interactions.

Events & Programming

• Support the planning and execution of hotel events, rooftop activations, themed parties, dining promotions and community programmes.
• Coordinate event logistics before, during and after each event.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth event operations.
• Assist in vendor coordination, guest registration and event setup.
• Prepare post-event reports, guest feedback and performance summaries.

Partnerships & Business Development

• Research potential brand collaborations, influencers and lifestyle partners.
• Assist in coordinating media visits, influencer stays and promotional partnerships.
• Maintain partnership databases and marketing contact lists.
• Support outreach to community groups, corporate partners and event organisers.

Guest Experience

• Engage with guests during events to enhance the overall experience.
• Collect guest feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Support promotional activities that increase guest participation and revenue.

Administrative Support

• Maintain marketing assets and digital libraries.
• Assist in preparing presentation decks and promotional materials.
• Track campaign performance and prepare simple reports.
• Support other marketing and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, Media or a related discipline.
• Passionate about hospitality, lifestyle brands and events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and trends.
• Comfortable appearing in social media content when required.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
• Photography and videography skills are a plus.
• Organised, proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work evenings, weekends or public holidays when supporting events.
