Job summary

Mama Shelter Singapore is seeking a Social Content Creation & Design Intern to join our Marketing team on-site in Singapore. You will craft engaging social media content, photograph and film food, rooms and events, and design promotional assets across platforms.

The role focuses on Instagram, TikTok, photography, videography and short-form video editing using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. This hands-on internship offers exposure to hospitality branding and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media or a related field.
• Comfortable using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiar with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar video editing tools.
• Good photography and videography skills, using a camera or smartphone.
• Strong eye for design, composition and visual storytelling.
• Passionate about TikTok, Instagram, social media and content creation.
• Creative, proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine interest in hospitality, food, music, nightlife and lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Capture live content during events, launches and activations.
• Design social media graphics, posters, EDMs and marketing collateral.
• Create promotional assets for offers, events and campaigns.
• Support website, digital advertising and other creative requirements.
• Assist with photoshoots, influencer visits and media events.

Role Purpose

The Social Content Creation & Design Intern supports the Marketing team in creating engaging, social-first content that brings Mama Shelter Singapore to life.

This is a hands-on creative role focused on social media, photography, videography, graphic design and short-form content, capturing everything from food and cocktails to rooms, rooftop moments, DJs, events and the people of Mama.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

• Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms.


• Photograph and film food, drinks, rooms, people, events and lifestyle moments around Mama.


• Create and edit Reels, TikToks, Stories and short-form videos.


• Support content planning, scheduling and day-to-day social media activities.


• Brainstorm fresh ideas and stay current with social media trends, formats and sounds.


• Capture live and behind-the-scenes content during events, DJ nights, launches and activations.

Creative & Design

• Design social media graphics, posters, EDMs and marketing collateral.


• Create promotional assets for F&B offers, events, seasonal campaigns and activations.


• Use Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar tools for design and content editing.


• Ensure all creative content reflects Mama Shelter's bold, playful and distinctive personality.


• Support website, digital advertising and other creative requirements.

Marketing & Event Support

• Support photoshoots, content shoots, influencer visits and media events.


• Work closely with Marketing, F&B and Operations to capture new dishes, cocktails, experiences and special events.


• Assist with EDMs, campaign execution and other marketing initiatives.


• Provide on-ground content support during selected events when required.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media or a related field.


• Comfortable using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.


• Familiar with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar video editing tools.
