Job summary

JAC Recruitment Consultant is seeking a Vessel Accounting Manager / Senior Executive in Singapore to oversee day-to-day operations of a diverse vessel portfolio. You will prepare voyage P&L and support accruals in collaboration with the accounting team.

You’ll ensure IMOS data integrity, monitor cash flows and vessel profitability, and liaise with stakeholders to maintain smooth commercial operations in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in dry bulk vessel operations with exposure to marine and voyage accounting.
• Hands-on experience with maritime ERP systems, preferably IMOS.
• Strong understanding of charter party agreements and commercial operation of dry bulk vessels.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to interact with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day commercial and operational activities of owned and chartered vessels.
• Prepare voyage P&L reports and support accrual processes with accounting team.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of vessel operational data in IMOS.
• Review and report daily cash inflows/outflows, including freight, demurrage, and port expenses.
• Track chartering exposures and vessel profitability on a weekly basis.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to support vessel operations.
