Job Title: Vessel Accounting Manager / Senior Executive

Your New Role
- Manage the day-to-day commercial and operational activities of the company's portfolio of owned and chartered vessels.
- Prepare accurate and timely voyage profit and loss (P&L) reports, and support monthly and quarterly accrual processes in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of vessel operational data entered into the company's shipping management system (IMOS).
- Review, monitor, and report daily operational cash inflows and outflows, including freight invoices, hire statements, demurrage\/dispatch claims, port disbursement accounts, and other voyage-related expenses.
- Track and report chartering exposures and vessel profitability on a weekly basis through IMOS, working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to support smooth vessel operations and commercial activities.
- Undertake ad hoc operational duties and other assignments as required by management from time to time.
Key Qualifications for Success
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in dry bulk vessel operations, with strong exposure to marine accounting, voyage accounting, and accrual processes.
- Hands-on experience with maritime ERP systems, preferably IMOS.
- Strong understanding of charter party agreements and the commercial operation of dry bulk vessels.
- Good knowledge of voyage calculations, freight settlements, demurrage\/dispatch, and vessel operating expenses.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external parties.
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents needed.
