Job summary

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is inviting applications for a policy and manpower development role within the Innovation, Technology & Talent Development Division. You will contribute to shaping national manpower strategies for Singapore’s maritime sector and collaborate with education partners to build a pipeline of skilled professionals.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of working experience in managing manpower-related programmes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to structure issues, ideas and solutions clearly and concisely.

Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Keep informed on national manpower policies and ensure alignment with maritime industry developments.
Provide analysis of maritime manpower landscape and present findings to management.
Track trends in maritime education and training and report to management.
Lead initiatives impacting the development of maritime manpower in Singapore.
Collaborate with local institutes (ITE, polytechnics, universities) to align curricula with industry needs.
Identify and implement programmes with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness of maritime careers.
