Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills, able to work efficiently in teams.
• Highly driven, organized, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Good knowledge of the shipping/marine industry; prior experience is an advantage.
• Experience in military or national security agencies and understanding of the National Maritime Security System is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key liaison for maritime security with other government agencies and committees.
• Plan and execute Whole-of-Government maritime security operations for national events.
• Perform Duty Officer duties at the Command Centre to manage incidents.
