Job summary

You will experience rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment, coordinate vessel movements, and learn safety, coordination, and reporting systems as you build a long-term career in the sector.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a local polytechnic; fresh graduates welcome.
• No prior working experience required; structured training and mentorship provided.
• Willing to rotate shifts on a 5.5-day work week and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to logistics/operations or maritime activities advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day container terminal activities to support safe, smooth operations.
• Support vessel loading/discharge while meeting standards of service.
• Arrange manpower, equipment, and resources for daily shift requirements.
• Record and monitor container movements through the Terminal Operations System.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vessel crews, and stakeholders to minimise delays.
• Guide equipment operators to achieve productivity and service objectives.
• Monitor ground activities and address disruptions or safety issues.
• Promote compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare shift handover updates and performance reports using digital systems.
• Complete the training programme and develop capabilities in terminal operations and leadership.
