Job summary

ROYAL OCEAN MARINE ENTERPRISE PTE. LTD. seeks a dedicated HSE Officer to oversee health, safety and environmental compliance across its maritime operations. A strong background in shipping, oil & gas, or marine engineering is preferred to ensure alignment with international standards.

You will implement safety management systems, conduct risk assessments, lead investigations, and promote a robust safety culture onshore and onboard vessels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience in shipping, oil & gas, offshore/onshore, or marine engineering sectors.
• OSHA/HSE certifications and STCW knowledge are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSEMS in line with maritime standards.
• Conduct JSA and risk assessments for shipboard, shipyard, and offshore ops.
• Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations with CAPA follow-through.
• Oversee PTW, hot work, confined spaces, working at heights, and hazardous materials handling.
• Deliver HSE training and drive a strong safety culture across crews and shore staff.
